Let’s understand how you can get started on creating SOV templates for AIA payments on Accelerate.

  1. Navigate to Invoices and Payments

    • Open Accelerate and go to the "Invoices and Payments" tab.

    • Proceed to the "Pay Applications" tab.

    • Move to the "Schedule of Values" sub-tab.

  2. View Active Deals

    • Here, you will see all the deals that have moved to operations.

  3. Create Schedule of Values Template

    • Click on "Create Schedule of Values Template" for an active deal that has moved to the operation state.

  4. Select Billing Type

    • Choose the billing type for the template. For this demonstration, select the "Lump Sum" billing type.

    • Click "Proceed."

  5. Template Creation Screen

    • On the template creation screen, you will see the "Values Template" tab and the "Estimate" tab.

    • The "Estimate" tab will display all data from the estimate.

  6. View and Expand Estimate Sections

    • Expand sections to view the complete hierarchy within the estimate.

    • You can switch between "View Assemblies" mode and "View Items" mode to see individual items within assemblies.

  7. Return to Values Template Tab

    • Go back to the "Schedule of Values Template" tab to create sections and groups.

  8. Create Sections and Groups

    • Create a section (e.g., "Section 1").

    • Create a group (e.g., "Group 1").

    • Unmapped groups are placed in the "Unmapped Group Sections" by default.

    • To map a group to a section, select the checkbox and move it to the desired section (e.g., "Section 1").

  9. Add Items to Template

    • Return to the "Estimate" tab.

    • Select the desired hierarchy for adding items to the template.

    • Choose a service and move it directly into the created section and group (e.g., "Section 1, Group 1").

    • The sales tax section appears, and values within the group schedule are automatically populated.

  10. Edit Values (If Needed)

    • Modify values directly if necessary.

  11. Save and Complete Template

    • Transfer all items from the estimate to the template.

    • Save the template, which updates its status to "Complete."

  12. Create Pay Applications

    • Return to the "Schedule of Values" sub-tab.

    • The template status will show as "Complete."

    • The option to create a "Schedule of Values" and, consequently the "Pay Application" is now available.
