Let’s understand how you can create construction estimates on Accelerate:

  1. Create a New Estimate

    • Begin by clicking on the "Create a New Estimate" option.

  2. Select Branch and Division

    • Choose the branch associated with the property.

    • Select the division for the estimate. For construction estimates, select the "Construction" division.

    • Click "Proceed."

  3. Enter Basic Details

    • Select the property by searching for its name.

    • Select the corresponding deal. (In the example, a sample deal is already created in the system.)

    • Choose a template from the list of previously created templates or use an existing old estimate as a base.

    • Review the template preview on the right side, showcasing all services and assemblies included.

  4. Select or Skip Takeoff

    • Select a completed takeoff if available, which will attach to the estimate and incorporate all property features.

    • If no takeoff is available, you can proceed without one.

  5. Generate the Estimate

    • Click on the "Generate Estimate" option to produce the estimate using the selected template.

    • Close the left app panel for more viewing space if needed.

    • Review the included services and delete any unnecessary ones to focus on the required services.

  6. Add Values to Services and Assemblies

    • Add Measurements at Assembly Level:

      • Click on the "Add" option to display a list of all property features available within the takeoff.

      • Search for and add the desired property feature to the assembly. The system will automatically calculate the hours and cost.

    • Add Values with Formula Variables:

      • For items with formulas, click on the "Formula Variable Mapping" option at the service level.

      • Select a property feature or add a custom measurement to the variable.

      • Expand the service to see that the system has automatically populated measurements for all assemblies using the formula variable.

  7. Customize Columns

    • Click on the three dots on the right side to customize your view.

    • Drag and drop columns to reorder them (e.g., total cost and final price).

    • Uncheck unnecessary columns to hide them and simplify your view.
