In this tutorial, we'll guide you on how to access and share your takeoff on the updated Beam AI platform.
Start by accessing your takeoff library from the home screen.
In the library, each takeoff is easily accessible with a single click.
When you open up a takeoff, it will take you to the main worksheet. This is where you can make all the edits, and changes.
You will see a few changes on this screen. There is a plans panel on the right,
the main worksheet in the middle,
and a features panel on the left. If you want to know more about the functionalities of the new UI, reach out to the Beam AI team: supportexp@attentive.ai
Now lets talk about some details on the main takeoff library.
You can see the status of your takeoffs here.
Within a few hours of submitting your takeoff, the estimated processing time will be updated; providing you with an ETA of completion.
Let’s discuss the remaining tabs on this menu.
The Draft tab includes all the takeoffs you’ve created, but not submitted. These include uploaded files and typed scopes of work that you have not completed.
If you decide not to proceed with the takeoff, you can leave it as is, and it will remain stored as a draft. You can then return to it later, and submit it.
Let's move on to the Queue tab.
When you submit multiple takeoffs, the first two will start getting processed immediately. Every takeoff you submit after the first two, will be added to the queue. As soon as one of the two takeoffs is completed, another from the queue will be picked up.
If the queue tab is filled, you will have the ability to reprioritize the takeoffs according to your needs.
There is also a Teams tab, where you can review the takeoffs completed by your team members. Here, you’ll be able to the see all the team members who have set-up the takeoff.
Let’s say you want to share one of your team members' takeoffs with yourself. You can do this, by clicking on the share button right here.
And finally, there is a Shared with Me tab. This is where you’ll find any takeoff that a tam member has shared with you.
Now let’s discuss how you can share takeoffs with your team.
Your first option is to directly share it from the main takeoff library, by clicking the button here.
You also have an option to share, within specific takeoffs.
Access the takeoff you want to share, and on the bottom left corner you’ll find the share takeoff access option.
This is how you can access your takeoffs and share them with your team.
