1. First, you'll need to enter the property address. Once you have the property, check the lot boundary to ensure all standard features are included, like pavement, lawn mulch bed, parking spots, and so on. Before confirming the lot boundary and reviewing your takeoff, you have the option to add or remove features.
Notice the split-by-sidewalk feature is already pre-selected.
This divides the feature into private and public sidewalk sections.
2. Now, if you click on split lawn by equipment, you will see that the property feature gets split into different mower categories, 60-inch, 48-inch, 21-inch, and 36-inch mowers.
If you often need these features split in your landscaping plus snow reports, you can set them as default for this report type. After setting your preferences.
Remember to save them once done, confirm the boundary and review your takeoff, then proceed.
3. Once your takeoff is complete, go ahead and check it.
You'll notice that the property looks beautiful and that all requested features are adequately split. For example, the 21-inch mower section and its area are clearly noted, and the same holds true for other mower sizes.
4. The sidewalk also gets split into private and public sections, each measured accurately when you're ready to export this information.
5. Click the export button for exporting to a PDF file.
6. Select all the features you need for your takeoff report.
7. You have the option to select or deselect features.
For instance, if the 36 and 48-inch mowers weren't measured, you can unselect them, ensuring all other features are chosen. After selecting the necessary features, click on send to email, your PDF report will be generated, and an email with a download link will be sent to you, making sure you have the measurements right in your inbox.
